Caring for your Swimwear

Rinse your Swimwear after each use

After you’ve worn your swimwear, it’s important to rinse it out thoroughly with cool water. This will help remove any sand, salt, or chlorine that may have accumulated on the fabric. It’s best to do this as soon as possible after you’ve finished using your swimwear.

Hand wash your swimwear

Do not wash your swimwear in the washing machine, as this may cause damage on delicate fabrics, leading to distortion and loss of shape. Instead, opt for a gentle hand wash using mild detergent. Soak your swimwear in a basin filled with luke warm water and a bit of detergent, swishing it gently before rinsing with cold water.

Don't wring out your swimwear

After gently washing your swimwear, don’t wring it out. This can cause the fabric to stretch and lose its shape. Instead, gently squeeze out the excess water and lay your swimwear flat to dry.

Drying and storing your swimwear

Do not dry your swimwear in direct sunlight as this might cause the colours to fade overtime. Instead, lay your swimwear flat to dry in shaded area. Do not leave your swimwear rolled up and wet. Once completely dry we recommend storing your Ibicenca Swim in its complimentary pouch.
